Daddy/Daughter dances are great, except when they’re not. Because the DMTF serves grieving kids, many who don’t have dads, we wanted to develop an alternative to the traditional Daddy/Daughter dances. The Blue Butterfly Ball welcomes grieving families and their supporters. This video was first shown at the 2022 National Alliance for Children’s Grief Symposium in Orlando, FL, to inspire grief centers around the country to host Blue Butterfly Balls in their communities.
