This is Marcie Taylor of the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation. I just wanted to remind you that we continue to offer a monthly Bereaved Parents Support Group at the Chambersburg YMCA. The group currently meets the 3rd Wed. of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Convocation Room (although we hope to have our own office somewhere in 2017). We update all of our programs and events on the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation Facebook page and our http://www.dremwichaeltaylor.org website. Our Drew’s Hope program has not met in Greencastle lately, as we do not have enough families interested in that location. We do, however, have 17 families at our Shippensburg University location. We can offer gas cards to families to help with travel expenses if needed. Our spring program at SU starts on Tues. Feb. 7 and meets every other Tues. from 6-8 p.m. through early May. We serve dinner, followed by separate support groups for children, teens and adults. Our children’s groups are play-oriented while our teen and adults groups are education/discussion models. If you’d like to join us in Ship, let me know. If you’d like to be put on the list for Greencastle, you can let me know that too and if we get enough families for the Greencastle site, we’ll set up some meeting dates.
